Please welcome D’Artagnan to ‘The Musketeers’ he is joining us for our Mini Mayhem challenge in June for Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is actually Godfrey the giraffe and if you have a look at our previous challenges you may see him in other guises, he was donated to us on our first challenge in 2010 by Pennington Infants School, the pupils followed him round the country, hopefully kids will follow him again this year.

The Charity we will be raising funds for is Great Ormond Street Hospital – GOSH

As you all know my latest challenge was to play Golf for 24hours nonstop, last week I did exactly that!Â
A huge thanks to all those that supported me on the day and also those that have donated, to date we have raised over £3,300 (inc Gift aid) for the Mental Health Charity MIND, its not too late to donate, the link is below, it would be great if we can get it higher.

A few facts and figures from the day itself:-
Huge thanks to our Sponsors, BuildingIS, ABS, James Liston, BHM Electrical, 3D Personnel, Rubico, Sandbox Ltd, Fairmead Professional Services and not forgetting Lymington Golf Centre who supported us all the way.
Thanks again for all of your support, if you haven’t donated yet please do on the link above.
This is my ninth challenge over the last 11 years and have raised over £35k for charities in that time, here’s to the next one!

To raise more funds for MIND during the upcoming 24 hour golf challenge we have decided to have a competition to run alongside the golfing. As most of you know we are playing Texas Scramble for 24hours on 21st June and for a small donation can you guess how many total strokes we will take whilst completing the 16 rounds? There will be 3-4 of us playing and its a total of 144 holes which is a PAR of 544 for one person playing. To guess is £2 a go or 3 goes for £5, just donate online at the link on the picture below and email us with you guess at info@themusketeers.co.uk.
We have some great prizes for the closest ones, there is a half hour golf lesson kindly donated by Matt Vineer, vouchers for 9 holes as well the adventure golf, all at Lymington Golf Centre as well as many other prizes.
All monies raised go to MIND, the mental health charity, which is a great charity to support, particularly in the current climate, any support will be greatly appreciated.

We have decided to do a quick, off the cuff challenge in honour of the NHS and its heroes! Lee, Gary and Geoff from Building Integrated Services Ltd are going to complete 450miles between during February, each in their own way.
Lee is going to indoor row his 150miles (240km) whilst Gary is going to combine running and cycling for 150miles, Geoff will be doing his 150miles by cycling, regular updates will be posted on here.
Building IS have been proud to be working with the NHS to create ward space at the start of the pandemic as well as creating vaccine centres over the last couple of months, with this in mind the three of us thought it was a good time to give something back to the NHS for all the work they have done during these unusual and stressful times. Please donate if you can using our justgiving page, there is a link on our home page or you can go here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/miles4nhs

Happy Easter to all of our followers, we hope you are all keeping safe and are well? Due to the current pandemic we will not be holding any events or challenges this year but will be back next year with our golf challenge so keep following for more details and stay safe!

Due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic we have decided to Postpone the Golf challenge that we had planned for June, we will let you all know when we have arranged another date. Please keep following us for updates and thank you for your support.

As most of you know our next challenge is to play golf for 24 hours, without stopping, in order to raise funds and awareness for the mental health charity MIND. The challenge in itself is just as much mentally tiring as it is physically, trying to stay awake whilst chasing a little white ball round a field for 24hours is not a easy task, its bad enough on a normal round of golf! The quote:- “Be confused, it’s where you begin to learn new things. Be broken, it’s where you begin to heal. Be frustrated, it’s where you start to make more authentic decisions. Be sad, because if we are brave enough we can hear our heart’s wisdom through it. Be whatever you are right now. No more hiding. You are worthy, always.“ by S C Lourie is quite apt for our challenge. We have now set up a JustGiving page for donations to MIND, the link is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/the-musketeers-golf If any golfers are interested in joining us or supporting us in other ways please do not hesitate to contact us.
